One important fact about this airplane, though, is that it doesn't exist.

The Chengdu J-20, also known as "The Mighty Dragon," is a stealthy, all-weather fighter aircraft manufactured by Chengdu Aerospace Corporation specifically for the PLAAF. It is a twinjet. The J-XX program, which got its start in the 1990s, includes the J-20. 2011 saw its first flight, and at the China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in 2016, China made an official announcement about it.
