This reef, which is a portion of Australia's Great Barrier Reef in the Whitsunday Islands, is called Heart Reef (obviously). Naturally, the coral composition has taken on the shape of a heart.

Beneath the salt lake's surface, pigmented algae and red sediments give it its distinct colour. Laguna Colorada is well-known for the numerous flamingos that live there in addition to its rose hue.
